Portugal "On Vogue"

Portuguese fashion designers presented this week at Paris Fashion Week "Ready to Wear" their women collections Fall 2012/2013.
Fátima Lopes, Luis Buchinho and Felipe Oliveira Batista were the elected designers from Portugal to perform on the fashionable French runways with unique and various trends which were recognized worlwide by the press. Undoubtly, Portugal has talent!

Fátima Lopes - "RUTHLESS WOMEN"

Fátima opened Paris Fashion Week "Ready to Wear" with a representation of human morphology with blood-red dress inserts, shredded leather sleeves and prints of the venous system in the iconic monument that was built for generals wounded in French imperial wars.
This look accentuated the frailty of the tiny-boned models as Lopes loves to do, which already represents her signature as a designer. When the show ended, the crowd departed sheepishly through the courtyard, with 40 huge canons pointing straight at them.
Backstage the designer said: "Yes, I make tiny shoulders and waists. But this is not weak. It's feminine and sexy, therefore strong". It is clear to all fashion lovers that her design pieces are a truly inspiration and a signal of strength to all women.
